5 Ways to Wear a Scarf
🕤 3 min read
If you are wondering how to wear a scarf this winter, you are in the right place! There’s more than one way to wear a scarf, but some of the ideas out there are a little fussy and impractical. So, we have made it easier for you and have chosen the top 5 ways to wear a scarf while looking chic, stylish and sophisticated.
1. Classic Drape
Forget wrapping, tying, tucking and looping this is the lazy girl's way to wear a scarf (aka my way) - a simple and stylish drape. There when you need the extra layer of warmth and perfect for tying your outfit together or adding a splash of colour.
2. Hair Scarf
There are numerous ways to incorporate a scarf into your hairstyle, from headwraps to 90s bandanas. However, my personal favourite is to tie a scarf around a sleek, low ponytail or bun. Depending on the colour and pattern, you can make this as sophisticated or fun as your heart desires!
3. Basic Loop
This is the most popular way to wear a scarf, and it is the best for keeping the chill off your neck and chest - perfect for cold weather! Drape the scarf around your neck, wrap one end around and pull the ends so they are the same length. From here, you can either leave the ends or tie them into a regular knot for something a little different.Â
4. Face Mask Scarf
Face coverings may not be mandatory anymore, but they are certainly here to stay post-lockdown. If you find yourself without a face covering but have a scarf, this is the perfect, stylish substitute!Â
5. The Toss
A little less lazy than the classic drape, but only just! This look is perfect for when you want to show off the scarf at the front, but haven’t got a long enough scarf for the basic loop. Simply drape around your neck and toss one length over your shoulder… voila! Cosy warm, and effortlessly stylish.
